In shortA class brief: the identity and social art direction for a culture podcast, built so every episode cover is recognisable at a glance.
- SSituation
- OTR (Off The Record) was a class brief: a culture podcast that needed an identity and social art.
- TTask
- I designed the identity and the social art direction: the episode covers and the track flyers.
- AAction
- I built one cover system (halftone guest portrait, a curved “Behind Closed Doors” line, a stacked name and a big episode number) on alternating red, pink and lilac backgrounds.
- RResult
- Delivered one cover system, so every new episode is a swap of portrait, title and number rather than a new design, and the feed stays recognisable at a glance as the show grows. It was a class brief, so there are no audience numbers.

OTR (Off The Record) is a podcast brand I designed for a class brief, not a client. The brief covered the identity and the social media art direction: episode covers and flyers for each track.

01My part
This was a class brief, not a client. I designed the identity and the social art direction: the episode covers and the track flyers.
AStage 3Action: the decisions
02One system, many episodes
Every cover uses the same parts: a halftone guest portrait, the “Behind Closed Doors” line curving around the guest, the episode title, the guest’s name, a stacked “OFF THE RECORD” and a large episode number. Red, pink and lilac backgrounds alternate, so the feed changes from post to post but stays one series.
